Lyndsey Harrington is a mindful communication teacher, writer, tea lover, and zen practitioner living in the Catskill Mountains, New York.
In 2012, Lyndsey encountered Marshall Rosenberg’s book “Nonviolent Communication” through a friend. In 2014, she began studying with the New York Center for Nonviolent Communication and then, in 2017, joined their team as a workshop facilitator/trainer. She has co-facilitated several NYCNVC intensives, supported the organization as a course coordinator, and has led and co-led NVC practice groups in Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley. In 2021, she became certified as a Circling facilitator through Circling Europe. She now teaches independently, both online and in-person, in a style that is a confluence of NVC, Circling, and somatic awareness.
In addition to her communication work, she facilitates tea ceremonies and holistic bath house gatherings for her local Catskills & Hudson Valley community.
You can read about her work as a communication teacher in Vogue, or listen to her interview about NVC with Radio Kingston.
